Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Routera platform, API, or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service to generate content that violates applicable law
• Resell or redistribute API access without written authorization
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security controls
• Interfere with the operation or availability of the Service

API access is subject to the rate limits and quotas associated with your plan. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access if usage exceeds reasonable limits or threatens service stability.

Your content. You retain all rights to the input you send through the Service and the output you receive. Routera claims no ownership over your prompts, completions, or any derived content.

Our platform. The Service, its design, code, and documentation are owned by Routera and protected by intellectual property laws.

Routera operates under a strict zero data retention policy for all API traffic. We do not store, log, or retain prompts, completions, or model input/output. Your content passes through our infrastructure in real time and is not persisted. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The Service routes requests to third-party model providers. Each provider has its own terms and acceptable use policies. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the applicable upstream provider’s terms. Routera is not liable for the output, accuracy, or behavior of third-party models.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Routera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Routera, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may close your account through your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Deva, Hunedoara County, Romania.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
